Moving On...

Movement news...my first job switch! :)

After spending 2 years at ICICI Prudential Life I am headed to NetAmbit Ltd as cluster head for Mumbai region. These 2 years at IPru have been a huge learning curve and the proverbial jungle where I earned my insurance selling stripes. The challenges at this place is innumerable and immense. Its about building a distribution network brick-by-brick. Its tough...and need all your wishes. Cheers!

Rakhi ka Swayamvar! No really...I am not trying to sound terribly depressed. But this? Dunno how many people have watched the promos of the show. A decked up Rakhi appears on the tube, cleavage and all, and asks for your(poor you!) hand. Go, make her life.

Life Updates

This place has been silent for quiet some time now. So dropped in to scribble something. I've been busy, so much so that even the word "hectic" sounds mild ! Caught with selling Return Guarantee Fund, Health Saver and then the arrival of the Holy Grail - JFM quarter. Also shifted to a new place in Andheri itself last sunday and havent had the time to unpack my stuff so it still resembles like a dingy hostel room. Things will only get busier as Tax season closes in . So I officially declare a hiatus till FY 08-09 closes. Will be back in the new financial year. Besties to you all and belated New Year Greetings ! :)

Food+Laziness = Bliss

Accidentally stumbled upon nirvana today. Donned my cooking gloves after a looong time - had last cooked something way back in July. Today Vipul just called me up and we decided to cook ! Menu was as spartan as possible - Rice & Chicken Curry with some cans of Kingfisher thrown in for good measure. Rishi Boss dropped in as well and we had a helluva 3 hour long session of cooking that heavenly chicken curry with beer cans strewn all around. Amidst all that work pressure of Premium, Cases, Activisation and some dozen odd KPIs that we insurance sellers face, I must confess that cooking is an awesome stress buster.

New Year Resolution Alert : More Cooking to beat stress in the tough months of January, February and March. :)
